Ahmadinejad Trying to Acquire 2008 Toyota Camry, Experts Fear

TEHRAN (The Borowitz Report) - The United Nations Security Council met in an emergency session last night amid reports that Iran may be seeking to acquire a 2008 Toyota Camry.

Obtaining a Camry, long considered the ultimate "doomsday weapon" by the U.N., would realize Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's longstanding ambition to acquire a weapon of mass destruction.

The Security Council's latest concern was prompted by intelligence reports that Mr. Ahmadinejad himself had been quietly shopping for Toyota parts in recent weeks on the popular online site Craigslist.

"This will not stand," Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said in prepared remarks last night. "If Iran is permitted to have a Camry, what's next - a Prius?"
