Obama needs a wake up call and shake up his inner circle especially wrt to political advisors. It is not about Obama. It is about the well being of our country. I'm with you. My youngest brother was in a meeting of political types in Austin yesterday, some fairly heavy weight, who were saying a variation of this. Just find ways to dramatize how irresponsible the Reps are being. Call them on the filibuster; whatever it takes to make it very dramatic. Just saying stuff is not enough. Gotta have some drama. Looks as if the Texas Board of Education has made a sufficient fool of itself that some moderate state Republicans will fund opposition candidates. (These "moderate state Republicans are very wealthy types who were considered, with more than a little justification, to be political troglodytes in past years. Just shows how far right our politics has gone.)
