OMG!>> "I was our state director of the office of emergency medical services and wrote the first state plan (under PL 93-154) and implemented the original comprehensive system with 15 components each with goals, objectives and methodology. 30 yars ago and they essentailly still use the plan I put together, including the EMS regions I designed using traffic patterns, districs and an EMS statutory state advisory council (to protect future administrators and make policy decisions) and regional and distric councils. Today our state is considered to have one of the best EMS systems in the world and they still use essentially the smae plan I wrote and implmeneted. Before my plan we had no system at all. Wrote the first state plan and was the third state director for the state office of alcoholism and drug abuse and implemented that one. Coordinated the Valdez oil spill for the governors office and the department of Heath and Social Services. Yeah, I did govern a few things.
