Steve, I would never rule out a truly bipartisan health care/health insurance bill on some positive, incremental measures that would find support with a broad swath of the American public. I've posted before on 5 things (recommended by a doctor as I recall) that such a bill might include. Such an achievement would represent a political success for the Democrats, and a positive for the country.

I don't expect it to happen. Too few Democrats support that type of legislation.

What happens if the democrats adopt most of what the republicans have on their web site and challenge republicans to their 41 majority

Then we will have a Health Care Cost reform bill.
Very different than what was in the bill that died on January 16th.
