Anyone know if Jerry left or was pushed? Ken Jacobs (one notch below Jerry on the server side) was supposed to speak at Oracle User Group meetings in Boston and New York next week. Last week, we (the NY group) got an e-mail from Ken cancelling because he has to go to Japan for the Oracle8 rollout. He is going to do the presentation that Jerry did at the rollout in NY. I suppose you can look at it both ways: Jerry would not want to do a major presentation and then leave -or- Oracle would not want to fire him right after a major presentation. Anyone have any insight? The announcement that he was leaving referred to his pursuit of "other interests" (which always sounds like a firing). -Michael
