<< Yeah.. war's kind of inconvenient, isn't it?? >>

I see you're a loyal follower of the government propaganda machine.

There is no war. It's a misuse of the term.

Your government needs you to think you are "at war" so you'll accept their violations of law, suspension of constitutional rights, torture, and a long list of abuses of power.

And it's working.

Find out just what the people will submit to and you have found out the exact amount of injustice and wrong which will be imposed upon them; and these will continue until they are resisted with either words or blows, or with both. The limits of tyrants are prescribed by the endurance of those whom they oppress.

— Frederick Douglass, civil rights activist, Aug. 4, 1857

<Remember "Axis Sally" and "Tokyo Rose"? They were US citizens too!!>

Somehow the lady survived the war.
I guess GIs back then weren't as tough as you.

"But treason is treason"

Is it?

So what happens if an enemy captures and tortures a US citizen, then that citizen 'cracks' and releases a statement in support of the enemy?

"Kill him" says Hawk.

Bye bye Mccain.

That's why we have trials and use common sense Hawk. So we don't kill off future senators.
