My grievance is with those national socialized healthcare systems of wealthy industrialized nations, who demand the same deal as poor African nations, and leave it to others to carry the load. In a sense, they force "others" (read, us) to carry the load. Yeah, and I don't disagree at all. I just don't know how you solve it. It is just one more variety of "cost shifting" if you ask me -- and that's an age-old problem that continues to confound our system today. I guess my point was that drug manufacturers are just doing what makes good business sense.
