Obama remains an enigma to me. But the whole political dynamic is complicated. Right philosophy versus left philosophy, corporate influence via campaign contributions, and lobbying influence, and the general confusion caused by the near depression and doubling of deficit from 2000 to 2008 leaving no room for a safe stimulous. I have no idea how this all turns out. McGovern would have appointed intlligent and honest administrators and pulled us right out of Viet Nam and dramaticaly changed the government based on socical theory and appointed much different justices.
