Yes, Victoria BC. I fell in love with the place on an Alaska cruise stopover. I didn't go then because of the difficulty of getting into Canada. They wanted a couple of hundred thousand to let me move there. I was also concerned about getting health care. Didn't want to be a ferry ride away from my doctors in my dotage. And at that time doing on-line finance stuff from outside the country wasn't feasible. Lots of complications with living "abroad" and I avoid complications whenever possible. I'm not sure I'd consider it now. At the time I favored the climate in BC and the Oregon coast. I'm ten years older now and less averse to heat, more appreciative of sun. I'm actually thinking about giving Florida a chance. I remember talking to you about Canada and your girlfriend back then. I figure you'd have made the move by now...
