Poor ol' Assend. Business has never been worse. All the ISP's are buying 3Com or CSCO gear because Assend's stuff just doesn't work according to CSCO and 3Com. The third rate junk that they do sell is discounted 70-80% so they are practically giving it away, and when the ISP's find out that oops, it doesn't work, they send it back for a refund. So Assend is losing $$ bigtime and it's just a matter of time before they go bankrupt. What's that, somebody say they can't go bankrupt because they don't have any debt ? We'll fix that. I heard a rumor from Spanky down at the "Jiffy Lube" that Mory invested their $500M cash hord with a Mr. Niederhoffer who lost it all plus another $500M last Mon. when the market tanked.

The worst part is that mis-management now says that revenue growth will slow to about 46% a year...... What a piece of doggy doo! Why I can name plenty of co's with a market cap of 5B+ growing at a much faster rate than this poor, beaten down dog. Let's see there's ____ and ____ and _____.

Can anyone name some more?

Golly gee Wilbur, I think I'll buy some when it hits $10. The scratch on the side of my pickup kinda looks like Assend's chart and shows it bottoming at $10.

Everyone else was having so much fun bashing ASND, I couldn't resist joining the chorus. Still long 12k at 41. Laughing at these guys bashing ASND is a lot more fun than crying over the paper losses I have.

Regards,

Lee

>>>and if you want to see where ASND may be going, take a look at SHVA<<<

No comparison. SHVA is suffering thanks to the larger remote access players like ASND and COMS dominating the field. Not to mention their market share is the first to be eroded when players like CSCO enter the market in force. Also, SHVA was focused on a small niche within a niche of the remote access market...their primary focus is LAN networks.
