bug, Can you explain better other than just simply post tons of messages and all simply says "GTW sucks". You opinion has volume but no quality, maybe I should get out of this thread for a while :o)

Yesterday, DELL reduced price on Optiplex line desktop PC.

long term gtw is dead. they can't manufacture efficiently. this store program is a complete bust.

This is not so clear to me. I admit, it is frightening to see GTW go out on a limb like this to build stores. The benefits to their bottom line of such a move are very suspect both short and long term.

On the other hand, as PC's become more and more mainstream, GTW could be making the right moves to further build it's name and familiarity with consumers. And by and large, consumers appreciate the 'familiarity'. My point is that come 5 years from now, if Gateway does it's job right, they could be the place people go for PC's, hw/sw upgrades, DVD titles, training, ... Not to say GTW can actually make money at it, but that's their battle.
