Actually... my main point was that "money is created" WHENEVER a bank makes a loan.

(And that --- in this recent global financial crash --- *far more* money was EVAPORATED from the global economy by this withdrawal of lending then *all* of the world's governments have since re-injected into the economy by spending or loose credit. In short, they have staunched some of the evaporation in money, but not all of it. That explains why we are not awash in a massive round of new inflation right now... instead being still in deflationary conditions for the most part.)
