uhmmm , it appears YOU are the one without a clue.

I think tax exemptions for senior citizens is reasonable, but how much they should be able to be figured out by a democatic process on an ongoing bases.

THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT PROP 13 WAS ALL ABOUT: PROTECTING SENIOR CITIZENS.


If someone has 10 million dollars in real estate they should have to pay some taxs on that! Senior citizen or not.


IT DIDNT ELIMINATE THEIR TAXES -- IT CAPPED THEM.

AND IT WAS PUT TO VOTE (is that democratic enough for you) AND APPROVED BY THE VAST MAJORITY OF THE VOTERS.

Its no secret California is in deep doo doo, but it isnt because of prop 13.
