Indications are that at least as far as the sex trade is concerned, extending the retirement age would not be a very good idea...

First, the fear should not be government in a democracy. We elect our representtivs in a democracy. We are government. That is a huge misunderstadig by so many people.

The fear should be coporations who we have no control over and who wield great concentrated power to distort society the way they want to make more money and with total diregrd for the common good.

Corporations are sociopathic by their very nature. Not good to have sociopaths influencing elections or writing laws (i.e. their lobbyists)

I am not linking existentialism with the public good, so much as individual freedom. Individual freedom is a mixed blessing both good and bad for society and somethign we need to wrok out still.

>>Yes the libertarians love to complain about the government and own guns :O)

You seem to be linking existentialism with the public good.. I don't think that dog hunts.

At my age (53) exercise etc are about maintaining quality of life :O)<<
