I STILL think ALL the groundwork for this mess was established by the Republicans. All? The word for people with opinions like that is partisan. I blame President Bush for running up a Trillion dollars in debt over eight years. The idea that he is to blame for Obama running up another twenty trillion dollars of debt is ridiculous. I am willing to give you and Obama some leeway. If you assume that matching President Bush is to blame for the same level of debt plus 10% it might be fair. So $485 Billion plus 10% is roughly $535 Billion. That means Obama is wasting a trillion dollars for next years budget. His "freeze" was a trick to lock in 20% to 50% increase in budgets for favored departments from the stimulus money. A real freeze would have looked back to the budget amount not the increased amount. I blame 100% of that gimmick on democrats. You should too. When President Bush was failing to control spending it upset me. You can review my posts for the last eight years on the subject. There are right here on SI. I am not writing about what I claim, but facts. I also admire President Bush for the great job he did on the War On Terror. For almost eight years he kept America's homeland safe from further attacks. It took Obama less than a year to blow the advantage and get two. What gets me is that a lot of people (you maybe) seem to be OVERJOYED that the country is in this mess. I don't know anyone who is happy about this, perhaps George Soros and the progressives (liberals) are. I am horrified that the information was available about what an extremist Obama was and that America voted for this anyway. I am horrified at the speed with which Obama has screwed up and the severity of his mistakes. The impact of his bad judgement is worse than I ever imagined it could be. I am concerned that he will succeed in destroying this nation.
