I am probably influenced by the fact that my back problem is worsening as I get older, and I am less mobile. I am too lazy to exercise much, and I pay the price for that. There is no doubt that I would feel better if I just went to the gym and did a recumbent bike for a half an hour a day.

Secondly, we are all so different in our reaction to food and exercise that it is difficult to generalize.

However, study after study just doesn't turn up permanent weight loss from exercise. And the people doing them were looking for and expecting weight loss results from it. That is why they are so frustrated.
