Southwest Airlines has grounded their fleet in Chicago. They appear to have wisely decided it's better to have them on the ground in Chicago rather than scattered around the country for the next couple days.

this will be our third 12 plus inch storm here in DC in the last 40 days or so.

there have been only 13 of these since 1870, I think 2 of those 13 were the ones we had this year
