We have to redefine what we think of as war. War is competition, albeit, a more violent form. What we are in now is a very serious competition with China. We are losing our dominance and with it our economic and national superiority. Lost those, and I guarantee you not only will American citizens have a lower standard of living, but we will be living in a much more dangerous world. Can you imagine a world where China calls the shots to the same degree that we have over the last 50 years? That's damn scary.

Let me crystallize it for you. Do you know why none of us were able to do anything other than mourn the fate of the people in Darfur? I'll tell you why. China has a major oil sourcing deal with Sudan, and in return, China gives Sudan political cover in the UN. Don't forget China holds a UN veto.

Now, do you know why Iran is getting away with building a bomb and there's not a damn thing any of us can do about it? Do you know why Iran feels free to enrich to 20% despite the threat of sanctions and despite the fact that even Russia is siding with the US? It's because they are getting political cover from China, who is using Iran to punish the US for daring to sell arms to Taiwan. It's because China also wants to tighten their oil deals with Iran.

Folks, we all need to wake up. China, as a far more effective communist country than Russia ever was, is a grave danger to Global stability. The world they would remake in their image is a far uglier, more dangerous, less prosperous world for Americans who are used to an amazing amount of freedom and prosperity.

Let's stop spending trillions on Al Qaeda and start spending trillions nation building at home, balancing our budget, paying off our debts, and becoming oil independent so that we can compete with China in this new century.
