Adam -- please read Jodi was not stating that the Nike Tour is worthless or has untalented players. Her post was simply pointing out that asserting that ACCY could never earn $2 million on a tournament because the Nike tournament only earned $60k is flat out wrong. That is like comparing Major league baseball to minor league baseball. There are some incredibly talented minor league baseball players but there will never be the money thrown at minor league like it is at the major leaguers. I have known some amateur golfers who make excellent money on the Nike Tour but the comparison is not even remotely close to the earnings on the PGA tour. ACCY will be (and hopefully we will see soon) comprised of PGA and Senior PGA tour champions, a whole different breed of players than play on an amateur circuit. Players who excite ABC and ESPN and who excite major, major sponsors to spend big bucks because they know golf fans all WATCH tourneys with champions. Please keep in mind the comparison.
