FYI -

The stock is under some pressure this morning due the registering of shares last night at 5:00. There may be some short term selling but I believe we will hold up rather well. The majority of large holders are looking for a much higher exit point than $4.

Take Care, Mike

I think the real question is how long will LASIK last once people have the option of "no-touch" PRK on scanning lasers. It seems to be common sense that avoiding the slice of the microkeratome is very desirable if the alternative is attractive enough. "No-touch" looks attractive enough to me that I've decided to do it in Canada, rather than do PRK or LASIK (yuck!) in U.S. One of the biggest pitches the LASIK crowd makes is fact PRK usually involves topical steroids after the procedure (although this is the common wisdom, it is controversial), while LASIK requires none.

"No-touch" PRK is so good, that the use of topical steroids is dramatically reduced, and recovery time is about the same as LASIK, and of course, there's no slicing with a steel blade through your half-a-millimeter-thick cornea, and therefore, little risk of having serious complications. I see you still haven't read up on it.
