Gateway Major Accounts Support has always been superior than any other (for desktop PC support). DELL has always left me kind of cold in sales, support and service. I'm not sure why, but they do. On this note, about a year ago our lab (small DOE lab) bought 20 or 30 P6-200's from Dell. Dell had agreed to install them onsite to ensure proper NT network integration. For some reason, Dell couldn't follow through on this aspect of the sale, either by remote or onsite support. So those went back and Gateway got the deal.

I'm not sure why, but they do.>> The above statement supports my view...if DELLs service etc is horrible, how come they are doing so well? <<No offense, but I hope you get squeezed like a pimple on GTW.>> No offense taken...the fact that you are long GTW had nothing to do with my decision to go short...and I am still quite comfortable with that position...in fact I am looking for some more bs to temporarily boost the price so that I may increase my position...also you can take heart that one day even I will be buying GTW, albeit to cover my pimple.
