Ted, it's never easy to be unemployed in this country.

Most people who are experiencing hardships, however, are the product of poor decisions they've made. And when I say "poor decisions," I mean in hindsight, not at the time they were made, so don't think I'm (totally) blaming them for their circumstances.


My mistake was accepting a job in CA and moving there. After all, I moved there just in time for a major quake and riots. Should I blame myself for my stupidity.......esp. in hindsight.....as I try to regain my health?

The fact is that we are all responsible for our own employability. Not anyone else's.

True. But sometimes we need to help others.
