Regarding back problem. I was plagued by periodic back problems for years. I always exercised a lot, mostly running and swimming and lifting weights, but my knees started to bother me so I switched to biking.

Since then, zero back problems. My guess is that bike riding builds up the stomach, back and other muscles and back problems just disappear as the stronger muscle structure can hold up the body and take a lot of pressure away from the joints.

I also have a bad left knee (which I am sure most people would just get surgery on), but as long as I bike a lot and am careful not to twist it, once again no problems.

By keeping my muscles strong, I think it prevents a lot of joint problems by keeping weight off of them.

I think about this phenomenon a lot as I am sure few docs know how well this works. This knowledge would probably put half the chiropractors out of business.

I really works well.
