It has everything to do with solving our deficits by lower health care costs. If we continue to allow health care an anti-trust exemption, then we are basically rubber stamping a non-free market industry. I find it hypocritical of the GOP to shout about free markets and then block the Dem effort to repeal health care anti-trust status.

The Dems also have to let go of their ties to big pharma, absolutely. But the point is that the GOP is not innocent in all of this. They are equally to blame.
