I am comprehending what your saying, and replying to it. Disagreement as to the truth of, or the importance of your statements, doesn't equal a lack of comprehension about their meaning.

Not really, for reasons I've detailed multiple times here. Still it spends far more than any other country, or even reasonably possible combination of enemy countries.

That's sheer insanity!

As I've pointed out above its not true, but if it was, it wouldn't automatically be insanity. If some countries spend less, that doesn't necessarily lower the need, or the utility for American military spending. And spending multiple times what any enemy spends, allows us the advantage of overwhelming power.

It would be insane - If we not only spent much more than our enemies and potential enemies combined, but also spent enough to be a huge burden on our country. That burden is measured best by percentage of the economy, and its much lower than it has been in the past.
