It's inexplicable and inexcusable. Castro is nothing but a murderous dictator. I watched the executions that took place right after he defeated Batista. I was a kid then, but I still remember. Most of us are old enough to remember all the people who try to float all the way to Florida from Cuba in innertubes, rafts, and rowboats. Those morons who made those remarks just lost all shreds of respect I had for them. Batista wasn't anything to brag about. I have no idea why we supported him. I remember very clearly when Castro took power, the US recognized his government immediately, before any other country did so. And then he goes slaps us in the face with his missiles and communist ways.
