(at end of this i will say how TSR is trading this)
gg i admit i am up against a market market that presently is as difficult a market that can be played, frankly i need a "black box" to trade this market at this time--as i simply haver nicer the time nor the desire to trade this mjarket manually, on edge of chair and revved up on expresso and wheeling and dealing.
Where are we going? The machines are able to make lots of money with a market going nowhere very fast, that is they can play with delight a tight, controlled trading range, and do so with major churning derivative vehicles, all sorts of complex swaps, the playing SPX futures on and on.
The art making money by just moving very fast as become the monster of world trade.
Remember what GS actually said in court when they thought an empolyee had gotten hold of their algorithms, and should be denied bail and held as a terrorist, they then actuallt said ' that what he had is his possession could, in the wrong hands, manipulate the entire global financial markets'
They in turn infered as they were honest trustworthy people dedicated to a non-manipulated market had the right to such power.(They , of course, being bold faced LIARS)
This is not science fiction .
This the reality.
So how do i play? i am not a intricate algorithms, does what it take a a thousands of minds and hands to do, and to do in nano-seconds.
What did TSR say, they said they now SUSPECT (i stress they use words like that, they are traders and as such adjust and adapt, they do not dogmatically pontificate) a tight trading range that will be between SPXWeekly 200ema(now 1151) and the SPXDaily 200ema(now 1047).
They recommend adding to SPX one or 2 year out puts on SPX when it is pressing the highside.

But the breaking 1085 of still importance to a move back to the WeeklySPX 200ema, but i now think The BOYS with the Machines can do that if they wish. Max
