Health care is in a crisis. Health insurance costs are rising at about 20% YoY, people are going bankrupt left and right because of it (60% of bankruptcies are now health-related), and tens of thousands of Americans are dying each year because of it.

Isn't trying to solve a crisis like that first a very responsible thing to do?

He cares more about pleasing his lefwing base than winning re-election. He said he'd rather be a good one-termer .... now realize he thinks good means as leftist as possible.
