it was anti-climatic, hokey, and so amaturish (sp?)... oh yeah, that was just that. To build the crescendo to the lighting of the torch and the jump to Gretzky being bounded in the face with rain in the back of a pick up truck...that was really odd. Very John Candy...you nailed that. Except John would have had a Molson in Gretzky's hand, and a pile of empty's around him in the truck bed.
