It he gets in, it is a bonus. The main objective is to be heard. IF ENOUGH OF US CONCENTRATE ON ISSUE , i.e. getting a representative to the company, our concern will draw attention from executives. Several of us have emailed to Investor Relations Department, and few were answered. By who? By employees in that department. Will those concern be elevated to higher or top levels? Should we just shrug our shoulders if we receive a standard answer from a Q & A list? Or do we have enough cloud if we ban together? It is all up to each of us. Many posts express concern the way Keitel & others handle the CC for the recent quarter. Have those issues been responded to, or just sharing the feelings amongst SI members? What do we have on the two boards of Qualcomm? A group of Q shareholders, collectively our number are about 200 members. And we represent hundreds of thousands shares. The number is small, but as a group, we should draw more attention than as one person submitting questions to IR. Art is a highly respected contributor to Q's boards. He has the education, the experience, the knowledge of the wireless area, and a seasoned and successful investor. He has graciously accepted the task of becoming our representative to Q. Now, it us up to us whether as a group we will take this opportunity to support Art as our rep. If you do feel that we need to get our voice heard loud and clear, then let us know your feelings about this. If the answer is affirmative, then the next steps are: a. agreeing on the mechanics to present our concern b. commitment from those who agree to bombard IR with letters which has the same content: "We want a Rep for our Group" Granted, the company will not agree to this shareholders proposal, but at least our voice will be heard, whether through shareholders report for ASM, or some blogs/media. We will draw attention. Once again, on behalf of a several members, I want to thank Art Bechhoefer for all his efforts, research, contributions and willingness to work for enhancing our investment in Q.
