Don't forget that these used to be called Edge computers and Zeos computers. It's hard for me to tell how the Micron name is perceived throughout the rest of the country; it's on everyone's lips here in the Boise area since the two companies have become such a large part of the economy. I don't see that the Micron name is a negative, however. Micron Technology (big Micron) does build a commodity product and it is in somewhat of a down cycle now, but it will swing back around sometime in the future. Micron Electronics (little Micron), seems to build a quality product and supports it rather well. I don't see that a name change is needed or how it would necessarily have a positive impact on the company.
