I am sure there have been times in the recent past when the northwest passage was open. What scientists see is the rapidity with which things are happening.

One can apply statitistical methods and come up with probablities. The worlds top atmospheric scientists think it is more than a 90%. But lets say it is only 10%.

So here is the concept global warming denyers are missing.

Let's use some logic. Let's say there is only a 10% probability that AGW is real and as serious as most scientists say it is. Just 10%.

Doesn't that much probability demand a serious look at the problem given what the results would be if true?
