The Medical Industry here in the U.S. may have avoided the deflationary spiral that the rest of us are starting to be sucked into SO FAR, but I don't think they can stay above the fray "indefinitely" so they may be seeing a lower standard of living along with the rest of the Country eventually. The Republicans really SLAMMED Obama for wanting to cut $500 Billion from Medicare over 10 years, but I have a feeling that when the Republicans get into control again they're gonna want to STRIP that program of a lot more than that. On healthcare, the foxes seem to be "scaring" the chickens into moving into THEIR pen. Could be a LOT of clucking going on in about 4 years.
