Poor Ten slaves in his cube, having achieved his dream of being an Intel engineer - yet he seems so deeply unhappy. Rather than blame Intel or just admit his expectations were misguided, he blames the little bit he pays in taxes (compared to other industrialized countries). If he just had that pittance, he'd be HAPPY!

Why is it that people in "socialist" countries rate higher than us in happiness? Could it be that they don't have to be corporate heros to be secure in their jobs, because they HAVE a safety net?

What a fool.

Z, > Should we continue to propagate myths? Or should we try to make it easier to advance?

What's "advancement" in a classless society? Why try hard when you want to equalize outcomes?

Most of us push hard for various reasons. Some selfish, some altruistic, some a combination of both. Why crush those motivations in favor of some utopian collectivism?
