I think it's a real problem- but I don't know how much humans contribute to it- luckily for me, that doesn't matter, since I think we should be cleaning up our energy production, refinement and usage for reasons other than climate change, and that we should be protecting people from possible damage from weather- whether or not climate change is "man made". Seems to me you could take the wind out of the winger wind baggers, if you just take that kind of practical approach.
