"I see what you did there." Doubt it. You throw out a phrase, 'overly labor-friendly policies' and that is supposed to explain everything. Yet you seem to be unable to articulate exactly what that means. It seems to imply that Europe inherently has a higher unemployment rate than the US. But that isn't true, either individually or collectively. Some countries, in fact, with the most labor friendly policies have a much lower unemployment rate than the US. And some of the countries with the least labor friendly policies in the EU have higher unemployment than the US. By all appearances, you understand very little about the EU and its economy.
