Of course they are. We also stack the deck in our favor. Every country does. This shouldn't alarm you, unless you're the type of person who is easily alarmed.

China will indeed be the next superpower, but they will have their own obstacles to overcome.

Remember, it wasn't too long ago when Japan was going to surpass or even take over America.
