Damn. I had a long reply sitting half done, while I pondered some of the details to give a complete answer on inherited citizenship and how it would work for the next few hundred years.

As you point out [regarding descendants], Tradable Citizenship has to make sense for centuries, not just for a single generation.

Then somebody pulled the plug on my laptop to use the electricity. Not having the battery installed, it died.

That's so annoying. I'll give it a few days and have another go. There's something about trying to repeat posts which is difficult, apart from being annoying.
