There is no need. Education is already mostly unionized. There is no bonanza for his party.

educate the minorities, charter schools, get rid of tenure in teaching. develop the children and they will be qualified to provide for themselves vs gov. substance.

If he did that and people would become better at providing for themselves, then what would government do? Cut taxes? Fire employees?

I think, John, following your suggestion would be bad for *their* business. Not a good idea, from *their* POV.
