the truth is the US spends outside the budget as well Less as a percentage than a number of other countries, and that's esp. true if you consider the non-currency resources that are spent on their militaries. Come on, Tim, why are you playing this game? Is working in the industry that important to you that you would fukk over your country? Seriously. we can't afford to spend so much on defense Defense spending has been becoming more and more affordable, as its over time become a smaller and smaller portion of our economy and of our federal budget. What we can't afford is all the entitlement spending projected for the future. Nonsense. We spend too much on defense......period.
