• Thomas Jefferson on debt and spending: "We shall all consider ourselves unauthorized to saddle posterity with our debts, and morally bound to pay them ourselves"

Isn't THAT a refreshing concept.....BUT, these days, do the masses believe in being "morally" bound to anything....

OR

Is it just the politicians who don't and won't be "morally" bound to anything that makes common sense?

And one more thing from Beck: • Jobs: Today, the average salary of the federal employee is $71,206, compared with $40,331 for the private sector. And the number of six-figure jobs in government is actually increasing.

Random thoughts from this chick.....

How many people do you know that even have heard of these numbers? And if they have, do they care? Do they just brush your concern aside? Do they themselves call our Government elected representatives and voice their concern?

My guess is that they don't care, and haven't done a thing about it if they do..... The question is WHY NOT?
