RN,

It would have an Osborne effect if there were significant numbers of people looking to buy a windows mobile phone. Is there a group out there that want a windows mobile phone that will put off buying a phone until this new phone comes out?

I finally watched a short video of the phone and saw some nice things but there would seem to be a lot of work still to be done. What I didn't like was the titles in large fonts that only partially displayed when scrolling to different pages. Also, there seems to be a lot of scrolling to get to where you want to be but since it was a mock up of a demo, who knows what the final product will look like.

On second thought, I think current Zune buyers/users will buy a MSFT phone, especially if the new OS is something they are familiar with. I think that heavy XBox users might also be ones to look at to buy the phone. The XBox number might be a nice number but I wonder how many people are still using their Zunes? Also, is MSFT still doing that stuff at their Zune store where you buy points and use points? If so, that is something that I think I would change if I were them.

Has MSFT opened any more stores? I could see the stores helping them to market the phones.
