That's fine I support that action.....but consider the pressure on the district to provided teachers to fill the rolls of all the fired teachers....the schools will be closed for at least a couple of months and parents won't stand for that and the teachers are smart enough not to allow the firings to be delayed until summer vacation. I think, legally, the union has the law on their side even if they don't have common sense. Those salaries are cherry picked also....see here. teacherportal.com
