No, I didn't.

I said that if there was to be a "Toyota bailout" (your words) that it would be an 'all Nippon' affair. Nothing to do with the American taxpayer.

(But I never said anything at all about the US requesting documents to study how Toyota conducted it's 'product recalls'. That would be a totally different issue then any financial "bailout".)
