it will likely hit all at once - and it ain't gonna be pretty!

"housing has already fallen a lot, so increasing interest carrying costs by 60% won't drive prices lower at the margin" apparently passes for "logic" nowadays.

btw, i'm not saying that we'll see 8% mortgage rates soon - i don't know. but i am sure they will eventually come again. it might take a while, though, or not.

it all depends on how the foreign private banksters respond to america's funding crisis.

and it isn't like incomes are going up anytime soon.

ps - if you don't lie 8% rates, what about 12% or higher rates?
