BAD NEWS re. UNREAL

First on OGR.COM:
We've just learned that Epic's first-person shooter Unreal has been pushed back and won't be released until the "first-half" of 1998.

I wonder just what the fork is going on at EPIC !!!I have to wonder about these guys with all the titles GT/MPRS have scheduled to be developed by them !!! Forget about Unreal sales in Q4,also no Mech3 anytime soon. Two genres that GT is surrendering to ATVI via Quake2 & Heavy Gear.

Yeah, I'm hip to it. Now, what's going to happen when sales of these begin to slow down? Do you think there will be enough in the pipe line to compensate? Overseas seemed to drop, publishing as a whole was on the rise. I also noticed they remarked that the SingleTrak acquisition is going to be a fourth quarter deal.
