Sid, good points but you can still get out of your position by buying back the option and selling the stock if things get worse which in that case the option would be worth less. 6 months is a long time but if you're going to hold and try to ride it out why not try to salvage as much as you can and reduce your cost basis on the stock? I'm looking at a trading range of 6 to 12 for the next 6-9 months. If they want my stock at 10 they can have it.
