6 days and counting. All this excitement is giving me the butterflies.I hope Apple delivers.

A couple of quick notes:
Apple is defying gravity again as of 7:50 western time. MOT,DEC,IBM,INTC all lower.. Apple +1.4%

The October short interest numbers are out.
viwes.com
20.1 million shares short
approx. days to recover: 11.6
Love to see a "short squeez" on Nov 10.

Mac OS Rumors is all aflutter with the Nov. 10 news. God, what I wouldn't give to be in Bill HooFatt's shoes six days from now. Guess I'll just have to settle for buying one of the new G3 machines.... :)

Think Different

Bill,

<<I think I'll take the day off from work and see what's going on.

Let y'all know what I see. Maybe I'll bring my camcorder and put some quicktime videos on the web.>>

That would be great. Thanks for the info too--I had thought the conference was in Cupertino. This means I have to get up early Mon. I just added 75% to my Apple position. Looks like we're going to be heading up all week. I don't know which looks more tempting, Apple on margin or Global Village for cash, since GVIL always follows Apple, plus they are very likely to get the OEM deal for "Kanga."

Everything we've been hearing about (new channel strategy, CompUSA sales increase, etc.) is being made official. That's why I like this company. Despite the soap opera and the crazy rumors, you can find a ton of info about AAPL and it helps you make informed decisions.

BTW, PowerComputing's direct order website has been shut down. Means that they are either way understaffed or else they have so few systems you have to find out which from a live body over the phone.

Apple shows a profit in Jan. My devout opinion.

Marc
