David - Don / TransCanada Pipelines

Good comments on pipeline company and maintaining theme of portfolio.
As usual David, your comments are very well thought out and meaningful.

I don't follow pipeline stocks. I do only in relation to effects they have on the producer.

Which leads me to a question - open for anyone to reply. With the hugh expansion and capital investment planned by the pipeline companies over the next two to three years, I was wondering what the impact would be on earnings. Do pipelines get an immediate return on capital outlay or is it returned over period of time? I recently saw an article where one (oil & gas producer) CEO said he wasn't in the pipeline business, indicating to me that signed on parties are expected to invest funds & become owners to extent of the interest they desire to obtain - all related to the amount of gas they intended to transport.

Last question, David you need to educate me - parrafin, can you explain what you mean.
