That reminds me of the time, I went to the mint in DC and bought a sheet of $2 dollar bills, 16 in total for a price of $40, later I spent some other money to frame it and gave it as a gift to someone. It is still hanging on the wall devaluing away.

So what scheme are these green and shooty clowns up to today? Option expire ramp? Absolutely no fear with the Fed backstop.

I think things are about to turn for the worse. Credit still contracting. Commercial RE going under. Real jobs still disappearing offshore. Taxes going up. Rates going up. Banksters going upscale bonus. Consumer going down under buried deeper.

Something just does not compute back in reality.

Fed site shows no transactions since Oct 29 regarding buying of treasuries.

Permanent OMOs: Treasury

The purchase or sale of Treasury securities on an outright basis adds or drains reserves available in the banking system. Such transactions are arranged on a routine basis to offset other changes in the Federal Reserve’s balance sheet in conjunction with efforts to maintain conditions in the market for reserves consistent with the federal funds target rate set by the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC).
